Basketball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Windsor

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Windsor walked away with it. They came out on top against the Green Mountain Rams by a score of 60-49 on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Wizards sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Madden Smiley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 13 boards. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was John Backhaus, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 18 points.

Windsor was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They are 21-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

Windsor's record is now 22-6. As for Green Mountain, they moved to 18-10 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Windsor nor Green Mountain have any future games scheduled.
