Basketball Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for North Star

North Star lost to Wilder back in February of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The North Star Huskies secured a 41-36 W over the Wilder Wildcats.

When it comes to explaining why Wilder lost, don't look at Jesse Morales. Despite the final result, he went 5-for-10 on his way to 15 points. Morales continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gelacio Martinez was another key player, putting up ten points.

North Star's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points over those games. As for Wilder, their record is now 10-9.

As of now, neither North Star nor Wilder have any future games scheduled.
