Basketball Recap: GREEN Upstate Piles Up the Points Against Whitmire

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for GREEN Upstate on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Whitmire Wolverines out of the water with a 69-24 final score. With the Owls ahead 36-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ayden Hopp and Braylen Sartor certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hopp posted eight points and ten boards, while Sartor earned seven points and three steals.

GREEN Upstate's win bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Whitmire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-17.
