North Broward Prep extended their postseason success on Saturday against Merritt Island. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs, sneaking past 3-2. The Eagles are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

North Broward Prep was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 22-25, 18-25, 25-10, 15-10.

Destiny Wiggins was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 22 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Merritt Island's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amber Ives, who had four digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Niazi, who had 12 digs and one assist.

North Broward Prep's win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Merritt Island, the loss snapped their winning streak at 23 matches and leaves them with a 29-3 record.

As of now, neither North Broward Prep nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
