Game recap: Shick and McGregor team up as Union defeats Kennedy Catholic

Brody Shick threw three touchdowns and Kaden McGregor caught three as Union (Rimersburg, Pa.) bested Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, Pa.) 41-21 on Saturday.

The Knights/Damsels were up 14-6 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Cody Kline in the first quarter.

Union expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. UHS scored four times in the third, including once on a Shick touchdown pass to McGregor.

Kline and Defense ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Golden Eagles. Kline scored two touchdowns on the ground and Defense added three as well.

The Rimersburg school's standout player in the win was Defense. He kicked three extra points.



The win was a nice bounce back for the Knights/Damsels, which lost to Clarion Area last week, 28-7.

Kennedy Catholic (1-5) will play a non-conference game against Reynolds next week, while Union (5-1) will take on Clarion-Limestone in a Keystone Shortway - Small game.
