Volleyball Recap: Abilene Christian Has No Trouble Against Christian Life Preparatory

Abilene Christian won the last time they faced Christian Life Preparatory and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

While Abilene Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-23.

Coralynn Gates paced Abilene Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Gates got some help from Addie Driskill and her 24 assists.

Abilene Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Christian Life Preparatory, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Abilene Christian will challenge rival Weatherford Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Christian Life Preparatory is set to square off against their familiar foe Fellowship Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
