Basketball Recap: Woodward-Granger Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ogden last Friday, Woodward-Granger came back down to earth. The Woodward-Granger Hawks were dealt a 66-39 defeat at the hands of the North Mahaska Warhawks on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Hawks have suffered since December 6, 2024.

The defeat snapped Woodward-Granger's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record. As for North Mahaska, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.

Woodward-Granger will welcome Pleasantville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodward-Granger is facing Pleasantville at the right time seeing as Pleasantville is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Mahaska, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-24 victory against H-L-V on the 28th.
