Volleyball Recap: Columbia Independent's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

There's no place like home for Columbia Independent, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Christian Fellowship by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Columbia Independent as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Christian Fellowship still got an impressive performance from Kaylee Garner, who had 23 digs and two aces.

Columbia Independent's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Christian Fellowship, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Independent will welcome Sweet Springs at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Christian Fellowship, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Chamois at 6:00 p.m.
