Recap: Harrisonville Wildcats vs. Chillicothe Hornets
On Thursday, Harrisonville lost to Chillicothe on the road by a decisive 68-51 margin. Harrisonville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chillicothe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaishon White led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Sol'jier Allen, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Harrisonville has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for Chillicothe, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisonville will take on Pleasant Hill at 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Pleasant Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Harrisonville is ranked 178th). As for Chillicothe, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop LeBlond at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
