Football Recap: Jordan Burns' Menacing Defense Leads Liberty Christian over Brookville

Liberty Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They enjoyed a cozy 33-19 victory over the Brookville Bees. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Bees: they've now won seven in a row.

Silas Nesselrotte had a dynamite game, rushing for 112 yards and one TD on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Liberty Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 376 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Liberty Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jordan Burns.

Liberty Christian's record now sits at 6-1. As for Brookville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
