Volleyball Recap: Sterling Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sterling entered their tilt with Ell-Saline on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. For the Black Bears, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

While Sterling might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ell-Saline scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

The victory got Sterling back to even at 10-10-1. As for Ell-Saline, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-15 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sterling beat Ell-Saline by a score of 2-0 later that day.
