Softball Game Preview: New Rochelle Huguenots vs. Arlington Admirals

The New Rochelle Huguenots will take on the Arlington Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

New Rochelle came up short against Clarkstown North on Wednesday, falling 15-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Huguenots in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Arlington had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on Mamaroneck with a sharp 15-5 victory on Wednesday.

Courtney Hillier was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Eraca, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

New Rochelle couldn't quite finish off Arlington in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 2-0. Can the Huguenots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
