Pitman came out on top against Downey on Tuesday thanks in part to Juliet Jimenez's efforts. Jimenez was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Jimenez and Pitman are taking a road trip to take on Gregori at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pride got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Jaguars thanks in part to Jimenez: she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits.
