Soccer Game Preview: Lower Richland vs. Hartsville

The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Hartsville Red Foxes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lower Richland fell victim to Crestwood and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Diamond Hornets in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Hartsville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Skylar Ford was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Hartsville's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lower Richland, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
