Pioneer waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They were the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over the United South Panthers. Considering the Diamondbacks have won three matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Pioneer's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for United South, they dropped their record down to 1-5-1 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-5 victory against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial on the 18th. As for United South, they have also already played their next game, a 14-4 win against Incarnate Word on the 17th.
