Batesville is a perfect 10-0 against Franklin County since August of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Batesville will be strutting in after a win while Franklin County will be coming in after a defeat.

Batesville hadn't beaten Connersville on the road since October 1, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Spartans 2-1.

Meanwhile, Franklin County fell victim to Milan and their airtight defense on Monday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0.

Batesville's victory bumped their record up to 4-8-2. As for Franklin County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything went Batesville's way against Franklin County when the teams last played back in August, as Batesville made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
