Football Game Preview: Richlands vs. Tazewell

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Richlands. They will be playing at home against Tazewell at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Tazewell will be strutting in after a victory while Richlands will be stumbling in from a loss.

We expected Richlands to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Bluefield last Friday, and they did. Richlands ended up on the wrong side of a painful 10-44 walloping at Bluefield's hands.

Meanwhile, Tazewell got themselves on the board against Hurley, but Hurley never followed suit. Tazewell put a hurting on Hurley to the tune of 52-0. The success represented a nice turnaround for Tazewell, who in their last game suffered a tough 18-60 defeat.

Everything went Richlands' way against Tazewell the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 24-0 win. Will Richlands repeat their success, or does Tazewell have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
