Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vandalia Christian). They skirted past the Alamance Christian Warriors 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since November 14, 2023.

Jaida Steele was her usual excellent self, putting up 24 points. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brittany Guido, who posted nine points.

Vandalia Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Alamance Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vandalia Christian will face off against Union Grove Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alamance Christian, they will take on Community Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
