Volleyball Game Preview: Charlottesville Black Knights vs. Western Albemarle Warriors + How To Watch

Charlottesville hasn't had much luck against Western Albemarle recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Black Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m.

Charlottesville managed to slip by Albemarle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Black Knights lost 3-0 to the Patriots on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Western Albemarle came tearing into Wednesday's contest with 12 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions.

Western Albemarle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-20.

Charlottesville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Western Albemarle, their victory bumped their record up to 18-4.

Charlottesville suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Western Albemarle in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Black Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
