Volleyball Recap: Woodlawn Takes a Loss

Woodlawn didn't have quite enough to beat the Julian Jaguars on Thursday and fell 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Woodlawn sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 15-8.

Woodlawn's loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2. As for Julian, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Woodlawn will take on rival South Shore International at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Julian is set to square off against their familiar foe Phillips at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
