Ozark won the last time they faced Heber Springs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hillbillies put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Ozark didn't let Heber Springs take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-23, 25-23.

Ozark had a senior duo take command as Maria Hermios had 14 digs and three aces and Isha Patel had 12 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Patel.

Ozark was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Ozark's win bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Heber Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Ozark will look to defend their home court on Monday against Lavaca at 4:00 p.m. As for Heber Springs, they will face off against Melbourne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
