Baseball Recap: Chapmanville Regional Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Chapmanville Regional had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 6-11 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Tug Valley Panthers as they made off with an 11-4 win. The Tigers' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Tug Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since March 29th.

For Tug Valley's part, Parkey Kelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chapmanville Regional will host Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tug Valley, they will be playing at home against Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
