Volleyball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

Lyman lost against Boone back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Greyhounds lost 3-0 to the Braves. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Boone's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Thomas, who had eight digs and three aces.

Lyman now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Boone, they pushed their record up to 2-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lyman will square off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Boone, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lake Mary on the 28th.
