Brody Hudson Game Report: vs La Junta

Brody Hudson gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April on Friday. La Junta had no answer to Hudson as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Hudson has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

Even though Hudson couldn't lead Salida over La Junta, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since March of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
