Baseball Recap: St. Patrick Falls to Paris in First Game of Season

St. Patrick had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 7-0 to the Paris Greyhounds on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Paris has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Paris will venture away from home to challenge Pendleton County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Patrick will be paying especially close attention to the Greyhounds' game: after the Greyhounds faces off against Berea, they'll take on St. Patrick again at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
