Recap: Parkway South Patriots vs. Rockwood Summit Falcons
The Parkway South Patriots lost against the Rockwood Summit Falcons back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Parkway South suffered a tough 79-54 defeat at the hands of Rockwood Summit. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Parkway South in their matchups with Rockwood Summit: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Shanfeld, who scored ten points. Eddie Ahearn was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Parkway South has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Rockwood Summit, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parkway South is on the road again on Friday and play against Mehlville at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Mehlville is ranked 310th, while Parkway South is ranked 326th). As for Rockwood Summit, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
