Whiteville is 9-1 against East Columbus since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Whiteville Wolfpack will square off against the East Columbus Gators at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Whiteville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.

Last Friday, Whiteville strolled past West Columbus with points to spare, taking the game 63-45.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past South Columbus with a 52-46 victory on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Gators' disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 519th, while the Stallions are ranked 229th).

Whiteville better keep an eye on Jaden Troy. He was instrumental in East Columbus' win, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 11 boards. The game was Troy's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrion Jenrette, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.

East Columbus pushed their record up to 6-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Whiteville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Whiteville beat East Columbus 51-44 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Whiteville repeat their success, or does East Columbus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
