Softball Recap: Waynesboro Comes Up Short

Waynesboro fell victim to Wilson Memorial and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 12-0 to the Green Hornets. The loss leaves the Little Giants still looking for their first win of the season.

Waynesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wilson Memorial, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Waynesboro is set to square off against their familiar foe Staunton at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. Meanwhile, Wilson Memorial will take on rival Riverheads at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
