While Georgetown's victory against Dillon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Georgetown Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dillon Wildcats on Tuesday, sneaking past 9-7. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Mike Johnson, III was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Zack Krause, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Dillon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will host Stratford at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games Stratford has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dillon, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Georgetown at 6:30 p.m.
