It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Harbor can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Buckeye Valley Barons on Saturday. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

While Oak Harbor ultimately came up short, they really made Buckeye Valley work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 26-24.

Myley Sandwisch paced Oak Harbor's offense, picking up ten kills. Sandwisch really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13.

Buckeye Valley found their leader in sophomore Delaney Lozier, who had 16 digs and two aces.

Oak Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Buckeye Valley, they pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Oak Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckeye Valley, they have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Marlington on the 6th.
