Soccer Game Preview: Elizabethton vs. Unicoi County

The Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones will take on the Unicoi County Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Elizabethton is headed into Tuesday's game following a draw, the team's first since March 18. They and Tennessee finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Elizabethton's goal came courtesy of Drake Teague, who's now up to 11 this season.

Meanwhile, Unicoi County kept a clean sheet against Sullivan East on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Patriots 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Unicoi County were the better team in the second half.

Elizabethton's draw makes their record 5-5-3 this season. As for Unicoi County, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.
