Baseball Recap: West Morgan Comes Up Short

West Morgan fell victim to Hatton and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 19-0. The Rebels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

West Morgan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cullen Kirby, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

West Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hatton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

West Morgan has already played their next contest, an 11-10 defeat against Elkmont on the 21st. As for Hatton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-0 loss against Florence on the 23rd.
