Basketball Game Preview: West Feliciana Saints vs. IDEA Bridge Capitals

The West Feliciana Saints just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the IDEA Bridge Capitals at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in West Feliciana's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.

On Thursday, West Feliciana strolled past Baker with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Buffaloes are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Feliciana to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brian Sullivan, who posted 20 points. Those 20 points gave Sullivan a new career-high. Travis Lathers was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Meanwhile, IDEA Bridge was beaten by Southern Lab 68-35 on Thursday. The Capitals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

IDEA Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for West Feliciana, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
