Basketball Game Preview: Saline Hornets vs. Dexter Dreadnaughts

The Saline Hornets will face off against the Dexter Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Dexter will be up against a hot Saline squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Saline simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Lincoln 58-19. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Railsplitters are ranked 464th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Dexter waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They breezed by the Eagles to the tune of 70-38.

Dexter's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Saline, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
