Baseball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

Lowell and Andrean squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Lowell had to settle for second. They came up short against the Fighting 59ers, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Fighting 59ers this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-3 defeat on May 5th.

Lowell saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Camden Mikulich, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lowell has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season. As for Andrean, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 26-3.

As of now, neither Lowell nor the Fighting 59ers have any future games scheduled.
