The Williams Vikings will take on the Page Sand Devils at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Williams knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Page likes a good challenge.
Last Monday, Williams beat Needles 10-6. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mario Pedraza made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Williams got a massive performance out of Aiden Uebel, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Dent, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Williams was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Page got themselves on the board against Monument Valley on Thursday, but Monument Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 9-0 win. The Sand Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.
Shaine Begay was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. Cole Tate was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-1.
Williams' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Page, they moved to 8-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
Saturday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Williams hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. However, it's not like Page struggles in that department as they've averaged .344. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
