Volleyball Recap: Immanuel Baptist Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lakecrest Baptist

Immanuel Baptist had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakecrest Baptist. The Fire haven't had much luck with Lakecrest Baptist recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Immanuel Baptist started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 26-24, 25-21, 25-20.

Lakecrest Baptist pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
