Baseball Recap: Coshocton Comes Up Short

Coshocton suffered their biggest loss since April 6th on Thursday. They lost 13-1 to the Sheridan Generals. The defeat continues a trend for the Redskins in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost four in a row.

Coshocton's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coshocton will welcome Danville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sheridan, they will square off against Unioto at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 4, the Shermans 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
