Signal Mountain won the last time they faced Coahulla Creek and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles took down the Colts 59-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Signal Mountain can attribute much of their success to John Zimmerman, who posted 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Max Rackel was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Coahulla Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Teagan Houser, who put up 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Waelyn Baliles, who went 7-for-12 en route to 15 points.

Signal Mountain now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Coahulla Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Signal Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-53 loss against Murray County on the 25th. As for Coahulla Creek, they will face off against Sonoraville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Colts' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
