Basketball Recap: Shullsburg Takes a Loss

Shullsburg lost against Highland back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Miners took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals.

Kaden Washa had a dynamite game For Highland., almost dropping a double-double with 28 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Koyer Zadrazil, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Shullsburg now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Shullsburg is set to square off against their familiar foe River Ridge at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Highland will take on rival Benton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
