Kalamazoo Central barely beat Three Rivers the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Maroon Giants were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Wildcats on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Maroon Giants sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tro Fellings was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Kalamazoo Central's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-1 (and 13-20 when he doesn't). Eliot Goerge was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Kalamazoo Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matches.

The win got Kalamazoo Central back to even at 21-21. As for Three Rivers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kalamazoo Central will take on Portage Northern at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Three Rivers, they will square off against Vicksburg at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
