Volleyball Recap: Tomas Alvarez's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Marcos De Niza over Bradshaw Mountain

Marcos de Niza was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Bradshaw Mountain Bears.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Bradshaw Mountain scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Several Padres players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tomas Alvarez, who had eight digs and two aces.

Marcos de Niza's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Bradshaw Mountain, their victory bumped their record up to 8-19.

As of now, neither Marcos de Niza nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
