Volleyball Recap: West Forsyth Now 8-1 over Last Nine Games + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Forsyth had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the East Mecklenburg Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Titans have posted since September 18th.

Among those leading the charge was Hadley Lichty, who hit 60% for seven kills and ten digs and five aces. What's more, she racked up 41 assists, the most she's had since back in September.

Lichty wasn't the only good servers: West Forsyth was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

West Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. As for East Mecklenburg, their loss dropped their record down to 21-10.

Looking ahead, West Forsyth will be playing at home against Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Mecklenburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
