Basketball Recap: Cedar Ridge Takes a Loss

Cedar Ridge lost against Round Rock back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cedar Ridge Raiders were outmatched by the Round Rock Dragons and fell 63-30. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 622nd, while the Dragons are ranked 133rd).

Cedar Ridge has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Round Rock, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-8.

Cedar Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-33 defeat against Stony Point on the 24th. Round Rock has also already played their next match, an 82-38 win against Manor on the 24th.
