Football Game Preview: Lincoln Lynx vs. Heart Butte Warriors + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Lincoln Lynx and the Heart Butte Warriors will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Heart Butte likes a good challenge.

Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Valier, posting a 74-25 victory. Considering the Lynx have won four games by more than 32 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kayden Riddle had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 193 yards and five scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 132 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 158.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dylan Jakushak, who gained 77 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lincoln was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 241 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Heart Butte was beaten by Alberton 58-7 back in September. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 65.0 points this season. As for Heart Butte, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
