Softball Recap: Concord Comes Up Short

Concord fell victim to Fouke and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 8-0. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Fouke, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Concord will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Side at 4:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Fouke, they will look to defend their home field on the 31st against Genoa Central at 5:00 p.m. This will be Fouke's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
