Softball Recap: Oxford Academy Patriots vs. Miller Rebels

Oxford Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Miller. They were the clear victor by an 11-4 margin over the Miller Rebels. The result was nothing new for Oxford Academy, who have now won 19 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Emily Ganguly was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. Ganguly has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Ganguly was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
