Volleyball Recap: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Murray Spartans
Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Murray Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beetdiggers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-16, 21-25, 25-23, 26-24.
Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Murray, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan will square off against Stansbury at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Murray, they are taking a road trip to take on Park City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Park City is coming into the game with five straight wins at home, so Murray will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
