Preview: South Point Pointers vs. Chesapeake Panthers
The South Point Pointers will head out on the road to face off against the Chesapeake Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Point will be strutting in after a win while Chesapeake will be coming in after a loss.
Even though Dawson-Bryant scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, South Point still came out on top. South Point strolled past Dawson-Bryant with points to spare, taking the game 73-55.
Meanwhile, Chesapeake lost a heartbreaker to Ironton when they met back in January, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. Chesapeake fell 53-41 to Ironton. Chesapeake has struggled against Ironton recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
South Point's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Chesapeake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
South Point beat Chesapeake 53-40 in their previous matchup back in January. Does South Point have another victory up their sleeve, or will Chesapeake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
