Softball Recap: Panguitch Comes Up Short

Panguitch and Milford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Panguitch had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 9-8. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Lillee Torgerson led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-5 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Samantha Larsen, who went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Panguitch's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Milford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

As of now, neither Panguitch nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
